Andrea Emmes - the Actor:
Best Selling, Award Winning Audiobook Narrator, VO Actor and Author, Andrea Emmes, she/her, was born in Hollywood, Florida, grew up in both Tennessee and Rhode Island and started her career in musical theatre. She’s enjoyed an eclectic career as a singer, dancer, Vegas Headliner, Magician’s Assistant, a Recording Artist and a Video Game Designer. Andrea has a Bachelor's degree in "Game Art & Design" & was a associate game designer for Disney Interactive! After suffering a major setback after being diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in 2006, Andrea has carved an empowered new path in life as disabled performer. A total book nerd, Andrea, now enjoys narrating all genres of audiobooks, especially YA, Middle Grade/Kids, Geeky/Comics, LitRPG, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Comedy, Mystery, Romance, and NonFiction at her professional home studio in CA. Andrea Emmes - the Author:
In 2019, Andrea co-wrote a semi-biographical young adult short story with her mother, Karen Bogle called “Meatballs and Memories” that was featured in “A Word is Not a Sparrow” audiobook in 2024 which was a benefit anthology for Ukraine Relief produced by PANA – Professional Audiobook Narrators Association. All profits from audiobook sales will provide financial support to the Artists at Risk Connection in Ukraine through PEN America, a non-profit organization that endeavors to safeguard the right to artistic freedom of expression and ensure that artists and cultural professionals everywhere can live and work without fear. Eternal Beauty is her first full length novel and tenth collaboration of an audiobook with Ashley Fontainne. |
